# BrXM v14: system requirements for PostgreSQL

Hi,

I’m upgrading BrXM from v13 to v14. With v13 we use PostgreSQL database v10. On system requirements page it states that supported versions of Postgres are from v13 to v17. Does this apply to all Bloomreach versions (from v14 to v17)? So I need to upgrade postgres to at least version 13?

You should upgrade postgres. While I won’t guarantee that brxm won’t work with an older version of postgres, I can guarantee that if you encounter problems we won’t be able to help you. This is for all versions.
