# Consuming StatusServlet without being authenticated

Hi there,

It seems that since Brxm 14, StatusServlet can not be called using [http://localhost:8080/cms/status](http://localhost:8080/cms/status) without being logged in, even though PingServlet can still be called consumed that way. Both are using “ping-user”, according to the upgrade manual: [https://documentation.bloomreach.com/14/library/upgrade-13-to-14/relevant-changes.html](https://documentation.bloomreach.com/14/library/upgrade-13-to-14/relevant-changes.html). Needless to say, custom status servlets suffer from the same issue. Could it be that it requires some additional configuration modifications that have escaped my attention?

In the meantime I’ve learned that this issue will be solved in versioni 14.3 ([https://issues.onehippo.com/browse/CMS-13071](https://issues.onehippo.com/browse/CMS-13071)), so I’ll consider this question answered.
