Hello,

We are looking to have the ability to have an icon with each site menu item on our navbar. Is there a way to add additional fields like an image to the built in menu functionality of the CMS (in this picture below)?

Thanks,

Tim

Hi @MPriess,

We solved this by updating the menu items hst:prototypeitem to have an advanced field where we could specify an icon. It doesn’t seem like you can use an image picker so you can either put the full path to the icon or in our case we maintain a key to URL map in our frontend so our site web masters just enter the key and the frontend knows what icon to show.

Hope this helps,

Implemented the same solution 🙂
