Activate default sorting by name in the content area

Hi,

where can the default sorting by name be activated? By default, documents are sorted by name. For document types, this is only active in the main folder. Not in the subfolders.

Note: we are currently on bloomreach version 14.7.19

If you click on ‘Name,’ you can see the arrow symbols to sort document types.

Yes, but I would like that to be the default. When working with document types, the sorting often switches to the default. Since the default is ‘deactivated’, I have to activate it again.

Unfortunately I do not know of a way to do this. I am fairly certain that the underlying classes have the possibility, but I don’t see where this would be configurable. I cannot say that it isn’t possible, but it isn’t immediately obvious to me where that would be. I’ve had a quick look into the code, but there are multiple (abstract) classes involved that are also used elsewhere. So for now I will have to say, I don’t think it’s possible, but maybe.
