Brx Asset Management

Hi All,

As soon as we upload a Document to Brx it becomes Available.

We have requirement that a Section of Website(Quarterly results/etc) goes live on a particular date.

Why we cant have an asset publish. It Seems Brx is more or less like WordPress.

There is an inherent architecture issue. Until we separate the CMS author and CMS Publisher (like AEM), this issue would be there.

  • Is Brx planning to separate the author and Publisher like AEM in future releases?
  • Add DAM capabilities to Brx.

It is already separated. Pleas read the documentation.
Bloomreach integrates with DAM, it has no DAM features itself.

Can you please share the Link! If author and Publisher is separated then if author goes down still the Publisher is able to serve the content.

Therre are bunch of topics and documentation about this:

Also, it would be good to read documentation and stop applying some third party terms and expectations to a completely different product.

Thank you! I am new to Brx.

When an Author Creates Content and Publishes, it has to go to the “Delivery tier”- Content Repository. It could be a new document/asset etc.

For this any additional steps would be required?

Deploy the Authoring and Delivery Web Applications Separately - Bloomreach Experience Manager - The Fast and Flexible Headless CMS?

By default, author can’t publish documents.
see:

You can customize it though:

Got it! My main question was below.

When an Editor Publishes, it has to go to the “Delivery tier”- Content Repository. It could be a new document/asset etc.

For this any additional steps would be required? As the CMS and Site repository are now different. Or as the DB is same, the repository is Synced?
