In our SaaS product, you can develop new components in a single environment. There is only configuration to be done on the CMS and the rest is done in the frontend while consuming our Page Model API.
In the on-premise or PaaS version, you can create components with Java code that does whatever you’d like but will require a repackage and redeploy.
