Bloomreach Configuration Verifier takes a very long time to finish processing

Hello,

Configuration-Verifier (CV) takes a long time to finish. We use Configuration-Verifier as a part of migration process from brXM14 to brXM15.
The CV process is running continuously to update the index ({path}/storage/workspaces/default/index). After 16 hours, the process is not yet finished. For information, our Lucene index has around 1.5 GB unzipped (this index is obtainable during Lucene index export).

Do you have any ideas how long it will take to do processing using Configuration-Verifier? or how to speedup the CV process?

That seems like a long time. It definitely shouldn’t take that long. How long does indexing take without th CV? You could try cleaning your repository , remove version history and log entries and such.

Thank you for this information. We have already deployed this upgrade to production. Next time, when we do an upgrade again & face with this issue,we will try your suggestion.
