Hi Community, I am very new to Hippo and am trying to figure out how to use the configuration verifier to help me in upgrading our 11.2.9 implementation to 12.0.2. Can I proactively run the verifier on the 11.2.9 version to determine what needs to change before making any changes or do I have to do the upgrade before running the verifier? If it is possible to run the verifier before making any changes, where can I find information on how to do that?

Hi Jean,
The Configuration Verifier (CV) will compare the standard CMS configuration with your existing CMS repository and report you all the different that can harm your upgrade.
So of course, you need to run the CV before the upgrade NOT after.
After doing the verification, the CV will give you the different in delta format, from that you know which should be updated, or removed or added to the repository bootstrap data.
