Change the emails

Dear Bloomreach,

At SMC we need to change the emails of all our users that we have in HIPPO and we would like to know if there is a quick way to do it. (223 emails)

We have an excel file with the current emails and the new ones that need to be put in.

Tell me:

  1. if there is a quick way to change them.

  2. if the users themselves can modify their emails (so that we tell them to do it).

the easiest way is to write a groovy script and update this in bulk:

thank you very much Machak, your answer is a great help, now we have the problem that we don’t KNOW how to create a “Groovy script”, so I think we will have to do it by hand all the contacts :frowning:

I see you have created an internal ticket in our system: if you attach excel sheet mappings to the ticket, I’ll write a script for you

thank you very much Machak for offering to create the SCRIPT but we have evaluated it internally in the company and we see that it will be safer to do it one by one even if it will take us more time. again thank you very much.
