Document Type Editor grouping fields possible?

Hi,

I am using Bloomreach CMS version 11.2.2.
I was wondering of there is a possibility to group fields in the Document Type Editor.

Example I have a documenttype with a group silver and a group gold both with x fields as an editor i would like to collapse the gold section because i am working with the silver section. Is this possible?

You would need custom editor fields for it.

Other option is to remove prototype nodes and let users add gold or silver options.
Using content blocks plugin is another option:

I do not understand the option: “Other option is to remove prototype nodes and let users add gold or silver options.”. remove all prototype node? The nodes will not be created automatically the next time when you edit the documenttype?

You may be able to do something with css:

Otherwise you would have to create the UI for this. This requires both Wicket as well as Hippo knowledge, but it is possible. Such customizations are not supported and may break on an upgrade.
