Enabling GraphQL in Bloomreach CMS

Hi team,

I am currently in the analysis phase of a project based on Bloomreach Content (Headless CMS), which will be built using a recent version of Bloomreach. As part of our architectural decisions, we aim to expose content through a GraphQL API directly from the CMS.

I have been looking for documentation on how to enable GraphQL within brXM, but I couldn’t find clear information on whether this is natively supported. The only option I see is through Bloomreach Commerce Accelerator, but our project is not an e-commerce solution, we are only interested in the GraphQL functionality.

Is there an official way to expose CMS content using GraphQL in brXM?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, there is no native GraphQL API for serving content and pages. There are REST APIs that ship with brXM APIs - Bloomreach Experience Manager (PaaS/Self-Hosted) - The Fast and Flexible Headless CMS

You would need to build your own GraphQL layer that uses these APIs and have your app talk to it.

Thanks for the confirmation David!
