Need Guidance on Optimizing Bloomreach Search for B2B Ecommerce

Hello everyone,

I am relatively new to Bloomreach, and I’m currently working on a B2B ecommerce project. We’re using Bloomreach Discovery for site search and merchandising. We’ve already made some basic progress, but I’m looking for insight into how to optimize search results to the relevant B2B users.

In B2B settings, the users usually search by SKU, part number, or technical term rather than conversational phrases in natural language. Some of our queries are returning irrelevant results, and some aren’t properly ordering the items we believe to be most important.

Does anyone have any tips, tricks, or best data visualization tools for improving the relevance of results to B2B scenarios? I would appreciate any specific experiences, best practices, or insights you can share using synonyms, boost rules, or identifying how to better integrate product attributes into the search logic.

If there are any webinars, case studies, or documentation that I might have missed that you think would help me be more aware of what’s possible on this platform, please feel free to share. I’d like to leverage the most of the available features; it can be overwhelming!
