Cannot use multiple experience page folders

Hello,

We want to use two experience page folders for different types of content, they are both on the root level in the document structure:

  • xpage-folder-1
  • xpage-folder-2

For both I have followed this tutorial: Configure Experience Pages - Bloomreach Experience Manager (PaaS/Self-Hosted) - The Fast and Flexible Headless CMS

But now when I want to add a page through the experience manager, I can only choose the first folder as the Location of the page. I thought maybe the reason was that I had added the ‘hippostd:cmxpagefolder’ mixin to both folders so I removed this, but that doesn’t help.

Is it not allowed to have multiple xpage folders? This doc suggests otherwise as it says ‘At least’ one experience page folder must be in place, that suggests there can be more.

Looks like you’re running into a known issue, https://issues.onehippo.com/browse/CMS-13987, so not supported right now. Actually I know it’s not far on the back log to be picked up, should be ready somewhere Q2 (hopefully) in the brXM15 version.

Aha! Thanks for the quick reply, glad to hear that at least this is not the way it’s supposed to be :slight_smile: I think we can work around the issue for now by creating the content in the correct folder first and then edit the page through the Experience Manager after. Then hopefully the issue will be resolved soon.
