Limit addition of component on Experience Page

Hi all,
I was wondering if and how it is possible to limit how many times a certain component can be added to an Experience Page. For example , I want that editors can only add the Banner component once in the Experience manager. If someone is adding two Bannercomponent they should receive an error before publishing the page, so not be able to pushish the page.

I found Abort an Experience Manager Action - Bloomreach Experience Manager (PaaS/Self-Hosted) - The Fast and Flexible Headless CMS but I am not sure if this fits my use case.

unfortunately that is not possible at the moment
(there were plans to add some validation to containers, but I don’t know about planning/status)
