Numeric Facet Value Sorting

Is there any chance of Bloomreach offering Numeric Sorting of Facets vs. Alphabetic?

What is the best way to sort facets with numeric content from LOW to HIGH? Noting that most of our facets are not pure numbers, they also contain the measure unit i.e. inches, mm, cm etc.
I.e. Not: 1,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,2,20
but instead: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11

Additionally, how would you handle fractions going LOW to HIGH? Noting that most of our facets are not pure numbers, they also contain the measure unit i.e. inches, mm, cm etc.

This is a really important topic! it is very frustrating to have to try to manage this on our website. I would even prefer it if we had to manually sort all the values, and some facets have more than a hundred options. If they we organized by unit and value, then finding what you needed would be an easy effort. McMaster has a solution for it: screws | McMaster-Carr
allowing for both fraction, decimal values for both inches and metric to be in size order
