4.11 Exercise 4 / 4.17 Exercise 6

Hi, I’m trying to follow the developer foundations module 4.11 exercise 4, but I’m struggling to understand step 5, above a screen shot. It says:

… For the FaqContent static component set the Definiton = base/component …

There is no FaqContent static component shown in the screen shot, or referenced elsewhere in the exercise, nor in the subsequent “explanation” video.

After navigating through, and following, module episodes (routes etc) to 4.17 Exercise 6, at 38 seconds in the video shows/says:

…you can already see that I’ve added the Reference SPA Content component…

There’s no “FaqContent static component” shown and I can’t see where this “Reference SPA component” has been added in any of the course material.

This also means that there’s no FAQ detail shown when following the exercise.

Can you advise where I’ve gone wrong, in following the course/exercises (where does this Reference SPA component come from - that is responsible for showing the FAQ detail)? Is the reference to “FaqContent static component” still relevant?

Thank you for raising this.

There is a mismatch in the name of the child of main. If you download the PDF 4. Frontend Integration Exercises.pdf at the bottom of the exercise instructions, the following image is in the same exercise.

Please update the child of main with the base/component definition. We will work to rectify this mismatch in the instructions.
