Restricting fields based on user permissions - is it possible?

Hello, I’m curious if it’s possible to allow certain user groups to interact with fields on a document but still leave the rest of document editable by default permissions.
Or if there’s something similar? The idea is to allow publishers to do a specific action to the document after content authors have done their work(but we don’t want to open that option up to them)

Hi Joshua,
there is no authorization for fields/ on field level…you can make certain fields “read only” (so, not editable within document editor…for all users), but that’s about it.
