We have been asked to provide some RSS feeds and this plugin seem like a good starting place:

However we have a requirement that this plugin doesn’t not quite meet out of the box. We want to provide a feed of items that would be the result of a query rather than just all of the items of a given type.
This is the page in question we would like a feed for:
https://www.gov.scot/publications/?publicationTypes=consultation-analysis;consultation-paper&page=1
The items on this page are all ‘publications’ but we have been asked to provide a feed of only the ones of a certain subtype (consultation analysis and consultation paper).
How might we go about doing this? My feeling is that we might be able to change the plugin above to fit our needs. The ability to specify a query that the plugin uses would be ideal. How difficult would this be?
