Custom Container component xtype

Hello there,

I have a question concerning the xtype of a hst:containercomponent.
I would like to know if it is possible to create custom xtypes or to edit the templates of the existing default xtypes.
My intention behind this is to use the xtype to build corresponding markup around each component (not only around the whole container) so that the component template itself can be independent of multiple surrounding page layouts.

Nevermind, I found a solution.
It is possible to override the template used by the hst:xtype by using the hst:template property. On how to reference the container items, I used the vbox.ftl as orientation.
